Power Conversion Systems Laboratory

Welcome to the official GitHub of PCSL at Seoul National University.
Our research focuses on advancing the frontiers of Power Electronics and Modern Power Systems.

Our primary research areas include:

  • Modern Power Systems: HVDC/MVDC/LVDC distributions, Grid-forming operations, and Microgrids.
  • Power Electronic Converters: WBG (SiC/GaN) device-based high-efficiency converters and Solid-state transformers.
  • E-Mobility & Drives: High-performance motor drives specialized for maritime applications and high-efficiency home applicances.
