About The Pull Request

Adds a new CLIP ship, the Antlia.
Antlia-class

A forgotten piece of military history, most Antlia-class frigates are now resting in junkyards. Their towering, pyramid-shaped hull was once the pride and obsession of the Terragov Regency, born from a time where pirate fleets could amass their forces in wild sectors for months before striking. While controversial, they made up a majority of auxiliary ships in the Terran fleet. In the modern era, these ships have been repurposed for League exploration deep into the Frontier and the Shoal. While the armory has been downsized, the ships modernised medical and research labs make it a welcome addition to rescue missions. There is an apocryphal tale of Terran High Command hand-picking the crew of Antlias that has forever colored this ships reputation.

A ship of ten crew, the Antlia is an ancient warship repurposed for civilian life. Inspired by the Typhon and Shetland, this near-completely retrofitted hull is "underequipped" in a sense, having to work up from their starting position to reach more comfortable heights. With low fuel and a tame armory compared to the CMSV ships, the ship is designed to be slightly bumpy in the early game, but a good living space with interesting areas.

It also may be jumping the gun, but the ship has the (current sprites) for Terragov clothing in command. This is meant to encourage roleplay.

Your crew consists of:

Captain: Speed through electrical storms. Speed through solar flares. Speed through your terran international lessons and forget all of them.
First Officer: Manage cargo. Manage the minutemen. Manage your cool caseless gun. Manage someone else to manage your goliath-broken legs.
Mechanic: Worry ceaselessly over power consumption. Consider renovating. Salvage all the shutters.
Minuteman: Search everywhere for the cigarette rations. Shoot brimdemons. Blow yourself up on purpose, you swear.
Doctor: Take a bullet for your minutemen. Drink formaldehyde. Declare the Crewmen cremated after they vanish on a lava planet.
Scientist: Make a mech, declare your job done. Spend the rest of the day feeding your fish.
Crewman: Make coffee! Write faxes! Save every member of the wonder-team from certain death. Recieve a medal, wake up from your dream.

Why It's Good For The Game

Creates a new CLIP ship that has R&D (Which the faction lacks, despite being known for mech combat!). Additionally, tests the waters on how people will play terran characters in a more Terragov setting, before the big refactioning.

I think it's a little large to be a frigate. There's no definite size guide on what is and isn't a specific size of ship in the game, but anything pushing 10 crew is a pretty big ship. Frigates are generally the smallest fighting vessel in a fleet of some kind after the corvette.

I dunno about giving them access to full research right off the bat. It wouldn't be a big deal if @Ossa88 's research rework happens, but access to unrestricted research round start is a pretty huge deal. You could try department locked protolathes or maybe techfabs.

Honestly, whatever you think fits with the theme of the ship. I could possibly recommend security, since you mentioned mech combat. It has a bunch of guns and exosuit designs. Medical is pretty good for ships that specialize in medicine, since it can eventually make things like the advanced med scanner and bluespace beakers. Science is noteworthy for having access to level 4 parts. Look for departmental_flags = in the code to see what the available options are.

to-do:
Change the IDs on every button and shutters. every last one. and add some more buttons for the engine blast doors
