Getting started with MSIXAACT
The First step is to download the MSIXACCT and install it on your desktop.
Ensure you are using Windows 10 version 20H2.
Ensure that the install path is c:\MSIXAACT
Once installed you will see the shortcut on the Desktop called "MSIXAACT" and in the start menu.
Run the app which will require admin permissions.
To Create a MSIX Image for App attach, click on the menu option "Create MSIXAA Image"
Once the form has loaded, you will need to select the MSIX package, select the output format CIM, VHD, or VHDX. Enter the size you want for the MSIX image, ensuring that you allocate enough space for the MSIX package. Otherwise, it will not work. Then choose the desired output path for the MSIX image.
The completed form should look like this.
