A training portal for data management, built with MkDocs Material. Covers Data Fundamentals, Systems Architecture (SoE / SoR / SoRef), Modern Data Sources, and the rest of the lifecycle — in long-form text rather than a SaaS surface.

It's not abandoned and it's not duplicate work. It's the text-first version of the same curriculum that now powers The MDM Lab's interactive modules. Different shipping format for different reading modes:

The MkDocs site is superseded as the primary learning surface, but it's not deprecated as a reference. Think of it as the textbook that sits next to the lab.
- Built and deployed. Has a
deployment_verification.mdconfirming the last good ship. - No active feature work. Content updates land in The MDM Lab first; this portal will only get critical-fix backports.
- Will be archived to read-only once the MDM Lab covers 100% of the topic surface here. Currently around 80%.
