The previous PR (#43) did not correctly handled the layouts cache, as I forgot that changing the time display affected the layout and search term. This PR fixes it.
Before, the cache layout was only incremental, adding new messages as they arrived. Now, changing the time displays rebuilds the cache layout entirely to take it into account.
