EasyMovie transforms your Kodi movie library into a personal movie picker. It asks a few quick questions, then presents a curated random selection so you can stop browsing and start watching. Think of it as a movie night concierge that already knows your library.
Ever opened Kodi, stared at hundreds of movies, and thought "I don't know what to watch"? EasyMovie solves that.
EasyMovie runs a short filter wizard that asks about your mood — genre, age rating, runtime, time period, and score. Based on your answers, it pulls a random selection from your library and presents them in a visual browse window. Don't like what you see? Hit Re-roll for a fresh set, or Surprise Me to skip straight to playback.

You can choose your preferred mode in settings, or have EasyMovie ask each time.
- Filter Wizard — Answer a few questions (genre, rating, runtime, year, score) to narrow your library down to movies that match your mood
- 5 View Styles — Showcase (default), Card List, Posters, Big Screen, and Split View
- 4 Color Themes — Golden Hour, Ultraviolet, Ember, and Nightfall
- Re-roll & Surprise Me — Don't like the selection? Get a fresh set or jump straight into a random pick
- Set Awareness — When a movie belongs to a collection (like The Lord of the Rings), EasyMovie suggests the first unwatched entry instead of a random one
- Set Continuation — After finishing a collection movie, EasyMovie offers to play the next one with a countdown prompt
- Earlier Movie Warnings — About to watch a sequel without seeing the original? EasyMovie lets you know
- Smart Re-suggestion — Avoids showing you the same movies again within a configurable time window (4 to 72 hours)
- Movie Pool Filtering — Limit your movie pool to a Kodi smart playlist for family-friendly nights, holiday themes, or any custom selection
- Clone Support — Create multiple copies of EasyMovie, each with its own settings — perfect for different profiles or rooms
- Custom Icons — Choose from built-in icon themes or set your own image
