Notes • QUOTENAME: Safely handles server and database names that may contain special characters. • Error Handling: The TRY...CATCH ensures any runtime errors are caught, and resources are still cleaned up. • DROP TABLE IF EXISTS: Avoids errors if the temp table doesn’t exist. • Consistent Naming: Fixed typos and standardized field/table names. • Performance: Uses LOCAL FAST_FORWARD cursor for efficiency. • Security: Always validate and sanitize server/database names if they come from user input.
