Download the latest DMG installer from the Releases page.
Use the following command to download and install the latest version with one click:

- Double-click the DMG file to open it
- Drag Seahorse.app to the Applications folder
- Open the Applications folder and double-click Seahorse.app to launch the application
If you see a warning message like "Seahorse.app cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer" or similar security alerts when first opening the application, this is due to macOS Gatekeeper security mechanism. You can resolve this by running the following command:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Seahorse.appAfter running this command, you can open the application normally.
Note: This command removes the quarantine attribute from the application, which is a security marker macOS applies to applications downloaded from the internet. Seahorse is open-source software, and you can review the source code to verify its safety.
- Download and install Seahorse
- Open the app and grant necessary permissions
- Start collecting your materials!
Quick Start:
- Copy a link, then quickly copy it again → Auto-saved
- Paste any content in the Seahorse window → Auto-saved
- Click the ➕ button in the toolbar to manually add content
