Direct Cybernetic Install for Caves of Qud

A quality-of-life mod that adds cybernetic management options directly to the inventory menu.

Features

• Install Cybernetic (Automatic): Press 'a' to auto-install to the first available compatible slot
• Install Cybernetic (Manual): Press 'm' to choose which specific body slot to install to
• Uninstall Cybernetic: Press 'u' to remove an installed cybernetic
• No More Menu Diving: Skip the Equipment > Cybernetics menu navigation

Installation

Manual Installation

1. Download the latest release, OR:
2. Copy the DirectCyberInstall folder to your Caves of Qud mods directory:
   • Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Freehold Games/Caves of Qud/Mods/
   • Windows: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Freehold Games\Caves of Qud\Mods\
3. Launch Caves of Qud and enable the mod in the mod manager

Usage

1. Open your inventory (default: i)
2. Select a cybernetic implant
3. Choose from the menu:
   • Install cybernetic (automatic) - Press 'a' to auto-select first empty compatible slot
   • Install cybernetic (manual) - Press 'm' to choose which slot to install to
4. To uninstall, select an installed cybernetic and press 'u' for Uninstall Cybernetic

Compatibility

• Works with all cybernetics in the base game and modded cybernetics
• Compatible with other inventory mods
• No conflicts with base game mechanics
