Ubuntu 23.04 - works

Hey, I tried on Ubuntu 24.04 and it doesn't seem to work :-(

May 30 11:46:16 bo-Blade-15-2022-RZ09-0421 gnome-shell[1983700]: Object .Gjs_ui_messageTray_Notification (0x56d1e4c325f0), has been already disposed — impossible to emit any signal on it. This might be caused by the object having been destroyed from C code using something such as destroy(), dispose(), or remove() vfuncs.

a quick google shows that ubuntu 24.04 runs gnome 46

gnome 45 introduced some major changes that would require some retooling.

I haven't looked into tackling it despite loving this extension and it seems the author has abandoned it (~3y of no activity)

if I ever tackle it (or if anyone does ... or finds a substitute extension) can bump this PR with comments

It's a shame, i used this extension in 20.04 :-(

I am completely new to gnome extensions, but have 20yrs experience with SW dev. If you give me some starter hints what to adapt / change i could maybe try to take a stab at it in the next weeks

sadly, I'm in a similar position... I have no clue where to start with the gnome 45 stuff
