Why

The current website is not being used to sell products, so exposing product and collection pages is unnecessary and may lead to a confusing user experience.

This change ensures users cannot directly access catalog-related pages and are instead redirected to the homepage or previous page.

This is a cool idea @thatecommerceguy! I haven't used this technique before...noindex rules and such for metaobject pages and stuff we want more hidden (since the controls on that are frustratingly not there) but haven't considered this.

Good thought and I'd still be able to tweak a little - we will be using product pages for the tshirts we're doing so we can get info and such but I like that it's built in for a metaobject config in this instance this is real clever.

When I get the chance will play around with this but at least wanted to acknowledge the PR. Will likely circle back this weekend if I can't get to it Friday afternoon.
