This repo is pretty badly out of date with in my opinion no other simple starter alternatives for Hydrogen out there on the web.
I share the sentiments outlined in: #82 as do others
So I took the time to update the dependencies as far as possible with any refactors required. The big upgrade is the remix to react-router v7 migration.
Includes upgrades for: eslint, typescript, vite, shopify/hydrogen and its various related packages, postcss, graphql.
I have reduced the vulnerabilities from this:
There are still plenty of deprecated packages and packages that are EOL not least of which is everything related to react 18.
However I cannot upgrade this project to react 19 because of various dependencies on Shopify's side not being ready yet: Shopify/hydrogen#2841
Quite ridiculous to be honest.
