The Lt. Collins Timeline is a Diamondback special project created with the goal of highlighting not only the events leading up to the Lieutenant's death, but what the University has done since his untimely passing to address campus hate crimes and promote an environment where students of all backgrounds feel safe and accepted. Moreover, we'd like to emphasize how tragic Collins' death is, and just how ostracized students of color on UMD's campus feel.
