Do you love Wordfeud, but you don't have any friends to play against? No? Maybe that's just me then. Perhaps you have loads of friends to play against, but you beat them all handily, and you're looking for more of a challenge? Or maybe you just need to see words on that board, but you don't feel like actually playing? Whatever the case may be, you've come to the right place.

Welcome to the wiki of Thomilist/wordfeud! As the name suggest, Thomilist/wordfeud is a blatant copy of my take on the mobile game Wordfeud. While mostly made as a learning exercise, it still aims to deliver a pleasant gameplay experience and to bring something to the table that the original does not.

See, while the original mobile game pits you against real human beings online, Thomilist/wordfeud has replaced the online features with a capable AI opponent. And before you get too excited: No, this is not the kind of AI that can help with your homework, generate art or chat you up. In Thomilist/wordfeud, I use the term "AI" in the same way old-fashioned video games do: a player controlled by a computer algorithm. Still, even if any semblance of intelligence is very much artificial, the AI opponent provides a great challenge - and one that can be adjusted to suit your level, providing an opportunity for more gradual practise. The parallels to old-fashioned video games don't end there, however. With Thomilist/wordfeud, you can still play against humans, but only on the same device, taking you back to the glory days of hotseat and couch coop before the internet properly took over. And if you just want to see big words being played, you can of course have the AI play against itself.

Anyways, enough faffing about. After all, this is a wiki, a place for insightful reading, so have a look around to learn more about my beloved creation - perhaps starting with the guide?
