Initial Release - 1.0.0
🎉 First Release
This is the initial release of Processor Processor, an Obsidian plugin for mapping subprocessor relationships in vendor risk management.
✨ What it does
Discovery & Mapping
- Finds subprocessor lists from company websites using AI verification
- Maps relationships between processors and their subprocessors
- Supports recursive mapping to build deeper dependency networks
- Caches results to avoid re-processing recent vendors
Documentation
- Creates linked notes for each processor and subprocessor
- Tracks relationships: processors list their subprocessors, subprocessors show who uses them
- Finds and links to compliance documents (DPA, Terms of Service, Security pages)
- Merges duplicate entities while preserving relationships
Visualisation
- Works with Obsidian's Graph View to show supply chain relationships
- Colour-codes nodes: processors (red), subprocessors (green), merged entities (blue)
- Provides filtering options for focused analysis
Configuration
- Integrates with RightBrain.ai for AI-powered tasks
- Customisable settings for mapping depth, cache duration, and folder paths
- Allows selection of different AI models for specific tasks
🚀 Getting Started
- Install from Obsidian Community Plugins
- Set up a RightBrain.ai account
- Run "Complete First-Time Setup" command
- Use "Search for Subprocessors (Discover)" to begin
⚠️ Limitations
- Recursive mapping can be time-consuming for deep networks
- Subject to API rate limits
- Manual verification of critical information is recommended
 Known Issues
- Some websites may block automated access
- AI verification accuracy depends on source document quality
- Large vaults may experience slower performance
