If the application receives any signal while zmq is polling, the poll will throw 'EINT' (interrupted), and unless caught this is likely to terminate the application. This seems undesirable, as signals can be useful for triggering an application to do things.
also minor bugfix in SendPersistentRootPlot, middleman response is 12 chars not 14 due to removed quotes.
