As announced in #12, I have a few small improvements after reading your code (some comments and documentation, a tiny refactoring of the DatasetInfo creation, and a spelling fix that could unfortunately affect users of the code who're using the old, wrong spelling of "leaf") which I wanted to offer with this PR.
