Before you begin, ensure your system meets these requirements:
- macOS version: 10.14 (Mojave) or newer
- At least 4 GB of RAM
- 200 MB of free disk space
- A compatible Drobo DAS device connected via USB
DroboBridge offers a variety of features, including:

To download and install DroboBridge, please visit the Releases page linked below:
Once you are on the Releases page:
- Look for the latest version of DroboBridge.
- Click on the version number to open the details.
- Find the file for macOS. It is usually named something like
DroboBridge-macos.zip. - Download the file by clicking it. It will save to your Downloads folder.
- Locate the downloaded zip file and double-click it to extract the contents.
- Open the extracted folder and find the DroboBridge application.
- Drag the DroboBridge app to your Applications folder for easier access.
- Launch DroboBridge from your Applications folder. You may need to allow it to run in your system preferences if macOS warns you about it being from an unidentified developer.
- Connecting Your Device: Plug in your Drobo device using a USB cable. Wait for your Mac to recognize the device.
- Navigating the Interface: The main screen displays your drives, available files, and folders. Use the side menu to switch views.
- Accessing Files: Click on a folder to open it. Drag and drop files to and from your Drobo as needed.
- Managing Files: Delete or move files easily using the right-click menu.
