LeanHRPT Demod can read either raw basebands (such ones from gqrx or GNURadio) or WAV files.
Select a file and then fill out its sample rate. The format is a depends on the baseband you are loading, the formats are in C style naming:
- char - 8bit
- uchar - unsigned 8bit
- short - 16bit
- ushort - unsigned 16bit
- float - 32bit float
Everything is automatically done for you, just click start.
When selecting "SDR" as a source LeanHRPT Demod will scan your system for SDR dongles, once done it will display them in the "Device" combobox (or empty if it can't find any). You can reload the list by switching to another source and back (TODO: add reload button).
Frequency should be the frequency of the downlink (unless you have a downconverter, in that case it should the IF frequency) and sample rate should generally be:
- 3msps for NOAA/Meteor
- 5msps for MetOp
- 6msps for FengYun
