About YAOSP

This project is from hereon a purely private project.

As such this is the last update that will be publically shared, in source and in compiled form.

Getting Started

To get started with YAOSP, you'll need to get familiar with Git and Repo.

To initialize your local repository using the YAOSP trees, use this command:

repo init -u git://github.com/YAOSP-NG/manifest.git -b YAOSP-NG-7.1.1_r24

Then sync up with this command:

repo sync

ROM Downloads

If you don't want to compile yourself and just download a flashable zip of YAOSP, you can find the downloads here :

Angler (Nexus 6P) : Android File Host

Bullhead (Nexus 5X) : Android File Host

Shamu (Nexus 6) : Android File Host

Hammerhead (Nexus 5) : Android File Host

Flounder (Nexus 9) : Android File Host

Flo (Nexus 7-2013 WiFi) : -- no support yet, maybe later --

  • General Note 1 : This ROM comes with baked-in phh-root, to use it you need to install [phh superuser app] (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.phh.superuser) from Playstore, all props and thanx go to Pierre-Hugues Husson for mainting SU open sourced.

  • General Note 2 : The use of SuperSU is not officially supported anymore.

  • General Note 3 : This ROM does NOT come with gapps, nor gapps backup script, so you need to flash gapps after the ROM zip each time !

  • Note for Angler, Bullhead and Flounder : flash respective vendor image and bootloader, you'll get an error message if using the wrong vendor image.
