Welcome to my GitHub profile! I'm Zechariah Wicks, a cyber researcher and a student pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (Software) (Honours) and a Bachelor of Information Technology (Networks and Cybersecurity) at Flinders University.
I'm passionate about more than just Computer Science (although, I do have a keen interest in data analysis and machine learning). In my free time, you might find me hiking ⛰️, knitting 🧶, or playing games.
I have been the GitHub Campus Expert 🚩 for Flinders Unviersity, and Adelaide since 2023.
Some of my favourite programming languages are Python, Java, and C++ mainly because it is what I used in unversity, but Rust has quickly been becomming one of my favourites after is used it in the [https://adventofcode.com](Advent of Code) in 2025. In the future, I want to learn Go and Julia!
I have also started daily driving linux, and I am keen to get more familiar with LaTeX.
