Bookmark URL Updater

Automatically updates bookmarks when pages are permanently moved (301/308 redirects) by updating the site's new domain

Setup

• Download latest version from releases
• Unzip it
• Go to chrome browser Manage extensions
  • chrome://extensions/
• Enable Developer mode
• Now click on Load unpacked and select unzipped folder
• For any bugs report here

Extension Features

• Automatic Detection: Monitors web requests for 301 and 308 redirects
• Bookmark Updates: Only updates the URL, preserving title, folder, and description
• User Interface: Popup with enable/disable toggle and update history
• Statistics Tracking: Shows number of updated bookmarks and active redirects
• Notification Features: Automatically shows bookmark updates, disappears on its own, displays name and URL changes, and can be turned off in the extension popup.
• Manifest V3 Compliant: Follows Chrome's latest extension requirements
