How to use the platform

Register a DAO

There are two ways to create a DAO:

1. By "Creating New DAO Token"
2. or by "Importing Existing DAO Token"

If you choose "Create New Token" for DAO creation:

a. Enter the DAO's Governance Token details including token symbol, name and total supply to be minted (eg: SHK, Shark and 50000)

b. Then enter the DAO Name and a one-liner description about your DAO (eg: Shark's DAO and it's description)

c. After that, setup DAO's Governance including Joining & Proposal Threshold and Visibility (eg: 5000, 10000 and No, for public DAO)

d. Once done, you'll be redirected to the explore DAOs page (see the newly created Shark's DAO)

If you choose "Import Existing Token" for DAO Creation:

a. Register your DAO first. Enter DAO Name and one-liner description about your DAO (eg: Joker and it's description)

b. After that, setup DAO's Governance including Joining & Proposal Threshold and Visibility (eg: 1000, 1000 and No, for public DAO)

c. Lastly, import your DAO Token by entering it's Contract Address, rest details will be filled automatically

d. Once done, you'll be redirected to the explore DAOs page (see the newly imported Joker DAO)

Register as a User / Member

Fill out the form to register yourself as a user of the DAO Town platform and eventually you can join the DAOs available on the platform.

Explore and join the available Public DAOs

Explore the DAO to join, make sure you own the respective tokens to get in :)

After Joining a DAO

Once you join a DAO, you'll be redirected to respective DAO page.

This is the current DAO Page, similar for all DAOs. Yes, we got you; UI will be updated in the next version :)

a. Proposal creation form

b. Members can also invite/add new members, just enter their wallet address

c. Creating Polls inside a DAO

d. May upload files which would be accessed by the DAO members only
