We want to give our customers a heads-up about an upcoming change: we will no longer create user properties on the Assignment event. To help explain this update, we plan to surface an in-product guide on the Experiments page that links to this document, so customers can review the change and its implications in detail.

Introduces an Experiment announcement explaining that experiment user properties will no longer be set on the Assignment event (effective Feb 10, 2026) and clarifies exposure-based behavior.
