Increase the version code to 1.1.0 - version 2.
Add -debug suffix to debug builds.

Summary of Changes

Hello @riggaroo, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request focuses on updating the application's versioning details within the app/build.gradle.kts file. The changes involve incrementing the internal version code and updating the user-visible version name, preparing the application for a new release.

Highlights

  • Application Version Code Update: The internal version code of the application has been incremented from 1 to 2. This is crucial for Google Play Store updates, as it requires a higher version code for each new release.
  • Application Version Name Update: The user-facing version name has been updated from "1.0" to "1.1.0". This change typically signifies a minor update with new features or improvements.

Code Review

This pull request updates the application's versionCode from 1 to 2 and versionName from '1.0' to '1.1.0'. The change itself is correct for a new release. I have provided one suggestion to improve the maintainability of version management by centralizing the version properties. This is a common practice that can simplify automated build and release processes.
