  • an experiment
  • one hack was required in the Scala code generator
  • some progress made but the grpc-java interop tests fail because of protobuf-java incompatibilities while other tests pass
  • the maven tests also fail for some other reason
  • sbt plugin tests pass - except 10-scalapb-validate which hits issues with jar version conflicts
