Improvements to the ASF library rDoc, so we can show the breadth of convenience methods and other utilities that Whimsy provides to tool writers. Some of these utility methods will likely be needed in some form in various Tooling work.

Many of these are already migrated to python as part of apache/infrastructure-agenda, but as a general rule we are not creating a singular tooling replacement for whimsy.

Great, glad to hear, I should read the current docs there.
And agreed: no need to replicate directly; just pointing out a lot of really helpful and easy-to-use from the developer point of view features that Whimsy supports. Some of those features may not be strictly required in the critical business workflow tools we decide we need (to be supported), but having this breadth of easy-to-use interfaces to underlying ASF data has made it really simple to add new visualizations or simple workflows in Whimsy.
