Here you will find all of the information needed to create your own PCB (printed circuit board) that will later be used in your new device, as well as information on batteries and PM laser sensors that are used.

If you would like to skip the process of creating a board from scratch, you can order already made ones from our site. Contact us here and we will be glad to help you out.

[Main board](Main board)

[Main board](Main board) is a data-processing board that offers communication and reading values of the sensor board, communication with the server and smartphone app through the WiFi module, and also manages power, battery charging as well as PM laser sensor readings.

Main board manufacturing

There are a few options for creating your own board.

You can contact your nearest PCB manufacturer and simply order the board from them, or if you are a developer interested in modifying and changing the design, you can make one yourself.

Below you will find all of the material needed to get your board ready and start sending data.

In order to create the [Main board](Main board) using your local PCB manufacturer, all you need to do is send this folder with gerber files to them:

along with the

  • [List of materials](Main BOM).

This way you will get soldered PCB ready to go inside your enclosure and start measuring the quality of air around you.

If you are a developer and you want to make changes to the design, modify and upgrade it, you can download everything you need here:

[Sensor board](Sensor board)

[Sensor board](Sensor board) is a board with various sensors attached to it. It measures temperature, humidity, air composition (CO and NO2 readings), ambient light levels, ultraviolet levels, altitude and particulate matter readings (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10).

Sensor board manufacturing

Just as with [main board](Main board), here is the list of parts needed to order or create the [sensor board](Sensor board):

Battery

This 1500 mAh lithium-polymer battery is the main source of power for the device. It has a life cycle of 500-1000 charges/discharges. After connecting it to the [main board](Main board), you can recharge it using microUSB port that is also located on the [main board](Main board).

Voltage: 3.7V

Capacity: 1500mAh

Dimensions: 50 x 42 x 7mm

You can order the battery here.

PM laser sensor

PM Laser sensor

The PM2.5/10 laser dust sensor is a digital particle concentration sensor. It can be used to obtain the number of suspended particulate matter in a unit volume of air within 0.3 to 10 microns.

You can find all of the information on this sensor, how it works, technical specifications, setting-up tutorials and example codes here.

You can order the PM laser sensor from this site.
