Packaging for ArcheOS

Packaging is very important to build a consistent, easy-to-manage Linux distribution. Luckily ArcheOS is based on Debian, which provides a rich toolset to help packagers, and the most complete package management system (APT). Is very important to understand why and how a software can be put in a standard shape, so please read carefully all the indications in this page and refer always, when you're in doubt, to the packaging team manager.
