This works well. The url to get the blank tile/resource is a bit clumsy. Would this be easy to fix? Otherwise this is good to go!
IE the current url is:
http://localhost:8000/api/tile/person/name/blank?fill_blanks=true
but it might be nicer to just have this:
http://localhost:8000/api/tile/person/name/blank
