Hey, I'm Andrew 👋

Frontend Engineer based in the NYC area. I've been building web experiences since 2015 — fast, accessible, user-focused interfaces across e-commerce, healthcare advertising, and my own projects. I'm comfortable across the full stack when needed, but frontend is where I do my best work.

🔨 What I've recently built

  • TypescriptQuest — a gamified platform for learning TypeScript with interactive coding challenges, XP progression, and badge achievements. Built with React, Node, PostgreSQL, Stripe, and OAuth → typescriptquest.com. Built using Claude Code
  • CanIParkHere — a React Native mobile app prototype that uses OpenAI's GPT-4.1 vision API to instantly decode NYC parking signs. Built using codex (openai agent)

💡 How I work

I integrate AI tooling like Claude Code into my development workflow — using it for architecture decisions, breaking down complex tasks, and shipping faster without cutting corners.

🛠 Tech Stack

Frontend: React · TypeScript · JavaScript · Tailwind · HTML · CSS
Backend: Node.js · Express · Django · Python · REST APIs
Databases: PostgreSQL · MongoDB
