as_matrix() deprecated

"is" literal can cause problems change to "==".

if mpl_toolkits.mplot3d is not working go to "~/python[X]/site-packages/mpl_toolkits"
where [X] is the version of python you are using.
create a init.py file in the base folder of mpl_toolkits and reimport.
