ChangeShape

You can change a lot of parameters of your Shape : his size, position, rotation, style, color... You can add several FX to your shape too, and modify the parameters of each FX.

You can find the parameters to change in the Left Panel :

• Shapes : general parameters (size, position, name...). In this panel, you can select a "pre-made" shape, and add this shape seleted to your current object-layer.
• Color : in this panel, you can change the color and the style of the shape.
• Fx : in this panel, you can add or delete fx for your shape. See FX, at the bottom of this page.

Text Shape If your shape is a text, the parameters to change are in "color" panel :

• Text : the new text
• Font : the font to use for your text Shape.

Image Shape If your shape is an image shape (bitmap), you will have new parameters, like :

• repeat : to repeat or not the image on the shape.
• change image :to change the image of the image-shape.

Transform a shape : position, Size, rotation After creating a shape, you can :

• change the position of your shape : use the X or Y spin-gadget, in the "shapes" panel. Your can move the shape by hand : use the "move tool" (in the toolbar).
• to change the rotation of the shape : use the rotation tool in the toolbar.
• to change the size, you can use the "scale tool" in the toolbar or use the "shapes" panel to have a more precise size.
• change the size of your shape in the "shapes" panel. Just change the W or H spin-gadget to change the width (W) or height (H).

Change a Shape : color, Style

• change the color of the shape : go to color panel, clic on the color buton and change the color.
• change the "style" of the shape. Your shape can be : filled, line, dash or dot. Go in the color panel to change the style.
• You can change the parameters for the style with : width (width of the line), height (height of the line for sdash and dot only) and distance (for dot only).

Change the other parameters of the shape In the Shapes panel, you have some usefful parameters you can change :

• Name : to change the name of your shape.
• hide : hide or show the Shape
• Lock : lock the Fx; If locked, you can't move, rotate or scale it. But you can change his color or style.
• Link : it's a special parameter, to link the shape with the next Shape. If a shape is linked to the next, the new "path creation" for this shape isn't finished when the shape is finished. So you can create for exemple a hole with two shapes linked.
• Close : use this parameters to close the "Line" and "Curve" Shape only.
• Center X,Y : it's the origin (or offset) of your shape. You can use it for transformation.
• Points : some shape are créated with points : Line, curve and complexe shapes. So use those parameters when selecting a point and move it more precisely.
• Button "Point properties" : you can open a submenu with options for the points (delete, convert the shape...).

FX : add a Fx to your shape

Fx are special effects for your shape. You can add all the FX you want. You can use the preset "FX" to test if they are usefull for you create a new FX and save it. Parameters of the Fx :

• Presets : to open, add or save a new preset for FX.
• Parameters : to select the fx you want to change.
• • button : to add a new FX.
• actif : to activate or not the FX.
• Style : to change the style of the FX. Thoses parameters are the same as Style on the color panel.
• X,Y : to change the position of the FX. The position is relative to position of the shape, of course. To create a simple shadow for example.
• Alpha: to change the transparency of the FX.
• Color : to change the color of the FX.
• Depth : You can set the Fx over (front) or under (back) the shape.
