Changed the section of the preferred variant of the English language in accordance with the Canonical Documentation Style Guide.
Replaced the remaining instances of en-GB with en-US on the page.

I noticed a discrepancy between two pages on working with documentation:
Contribute to our docs recommends the en-GB variant, provides examples, and links to the Canonical Documentation Style Guide as a justification.
Canonical Documentation Style Guide, on the other hand, mentions that Canonical previously used the UK English, but has changed to the US English, which directly contradicts the previous page.
I suggest reconciling the two pages - i.e., replacing mentions of en-GB with en-US and changing all the instances of the en-GB text with en-US text.
