I don't quite like the R=G=B duplication for grayscale images, but I don't see a better approach as image-rs simply lacks wider color types. Fixes cds-astro#41.

@RReverser - I was off working during some weeks. Thank you very much for this contribution, I think it looks all great. I like it to be not in the default features for the moment too. |
