Life Satisfaction

Driving Questions

How do young adults (18-25) use their leisure time? How do these patterns differ amongst different social groups (Students, Employed Students, Employed, Unemployed)? Can we use patterns in leisure time usage to predict life satisfaction?

Structure

All of our datasets can be found in the "csvs" file; much of the data cleaning was done in Stata before the files were uploaded to the GitHub. Our visualizations and model were created entirely with R; the code can be found in the "final-vis-code" and "model" folders, respectively. All of our visualizations are also stored as either SVG or HTML files in the "final-visualizations" file as well. The "eda" file contains a lot of our preliminary exploration, and "data-dictionaries" contains two text files that explain the variable names in the datasets.
