We will use this page to identify the topics we will cover over the course of the semester. In general, if you find something related to the software engineering of data-intensive systems (a.k.a. big data systems), then edit this page and add a link to it in the appropriate category (create the category if it doesn't exist). We will also use this page as a way for students to claim a topic to create a presentation about it. If you're interested in a particular technology or framework, then claim it and create a presentation about it and work with Prof. Anderson to schedule a time to present it in class. (Prof. Anderson will work to make sure that there are themes each week, so that a given lecture is mostly focused on a single topic.)
