  • LiveRide now shows remaining distance and optionally remaining time and/or ETA. POI URLs (e.g. bike shop websites) now appear as clickable links. Find a Place now puts a marker on the screen instead of just centering the map. Various minor bug fixes. Please note that the Offline Vector maps support (using the separate "Cyclestreets UK Map Pack" app bundle) has been broken by Android platform changes. We aim to restore this functionality in a subsequent release.

  • ## Features: - Handle CycleStreets photomap location URLs. - Waypoints shown during LiveRide. - Dates included on photo display dialog. - Active segment now highlighted on the elevation graph. - Modernisation of some icons, using vector graphics for better resolution and smaller install size. - LiveRide now requests audio focus which should improve the experience e.g. when also playing music. - Target streets are now described as part of instructions - e.g. "Get ready to turn right" becomes "Get ready to turn right onto [street name]". - Revised Back button behaviour. ## Bug fixes: - LiveRide no longer restarts on wake, so the annoying torrent of instructions is gone. - Waypoint icons in Android 10 no longer appear ridiculously small and in the wrong place. - Extra start waypoint added when replanning the journey does not persist, so multiple replans are dealt with more logically. - A number of crash scenarios fixed. - LiveRide now makes itself a foreground service, which fixes some scenarios where it previously wouldn't work (e.g. low available memory) - You can no longer scroll past the North Pole to Antarctica, and back again.
