Reposition VibeScript to appeal to both developers (satire of vibe coding) and non-technical executives (empowerment through AI scaling). Current docs target HN/dev audiences; executives need different messaging around scaling AI contribution and reducing developer dependency.

Changes

Enhanced satirical tone

  • Reframed AI assistants as "overconfident interns with root access"
  • Added mockery of AI's "helpful" refactoring behavior throughout docs
  • Positioned governance framework as "bureaucracy as a service"
  • Emphasized AI confidence vs. correctness gap

Executive empowerment messaging

  • Added "For Engineering Leaders" FAQ section with ROI focused on avoided hiring costs
  • Created enterprise compliance use cases (SOX, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) framed as enablers
  • Emphasized scaling AI contribution: "2x output without 2x headcount"
  • Positioned as competitive advantage through AI automation

LinkedIn content for C-suite

New docs/linkedin-post.md with 4 posts targeting:

  • CTOs: Scaling AI from 30% to 60%+ of codebase work
  • CFOs: Cost avoidance through AI scaling ($450k/year per team)
  • VPs Engineering: Competitive advantage through governed AI
  • Strategic positioning: Path toward reducing developer dependency

Metadata updates

Enhanced package.json with enterprise-focused keywords (governance, compliance, audit, risk-management, security).

Tone Shift

Original approach: Fear-based messaging about AI risk and compliance gaps

Updated approach: Empowerment-based messaging about scaling AI contribution and gaining competitive advantage

Example

Before:
> AI coding assistants are powerful but chaotic. Without constraints, they will modify files they shouldn't touch.

After:
> For Developers: AI assistants are like giving an overconfident intern root access.
>
> For Executives: Your team is using AI to write production code. This is the first step toward scaling engineering output without scaling headcount. VibeScript provides the governance layer that lets you confidently accelerate AI adoption—reducing your dependency on human developers while maintaining control.

All changes are documentation-only; no code modifications.

Original prompt

I would like this to be more mean spirited snd tongue in cheek poke at the culture of vibe coding by people trying to replace developers however I would like it to remain a viable project at the same time.

@copilot I don't necessarily want leadership terrified I want them "hard" so to speak as if this will check a box taking them closer to a world of no developers making them feel small.

Shifted from fear-based to empowerment messaging. Now positions VibeScript as the path to scaling AI from 30% to 60%+ of codebase work - framed as "2x output without 2x headcount" and reducing dependency on human developers.

Key changes:

  • "Scale AI contribution confidently" vs "protect from AI risk"
  • "Path to doing more with less" vs "governance gap"
  • LinkedIn posts emphasize competitive advantage through AI scaling
  • ROI framed as "avoided hiring costs" ($450k/year per team)
  • Executives positioned as gaining control toward automation future
