Chest Loot

deepslater edited this page Apr 2, 2024 · 10 revisions

Chest loot has been adjusted to create a more balanced feel. I started working up from the initial loot chests through the Minecraft changelog, so you'll find them in that order here.

My philosophy is to make weights clearer while keeping the loot grounded in its environment, so I separate pools by theme and rarity, ensuring you'll almost always get one item from each pool - generally Treasure, Tools & Resources, Food, alongside whatever themed loot I could think of.

Semiprecious Armor - a cursed, enchanted Chain/Iron/Gold armor piece Precious Underground Tool - a cursed, enchanted Iron/Gold/Diamond sword or pickaxe

"Minecart With" ingredients are either a Furnace, a Hopper, or TNT. 25% of the time this results in nothing, since the chest ingredient is already there!
