Troubleshooting

- Go to your Fitbit Settings
- Scroll down to "Heart Rate: Enables heart data features" and confirm is set to "On"
- Let's be sure Bluetooth is connected on your phone your Fitbit Versa is syncing
- run "Sync now" on your phone Fitbit app
- check if the image was updated or try a new image change
- Go to the main or home screen.
- Swipe left on the screen until you see Settings. Tap Settings.
- Scroll down and tap About.
- Select Shutdown. Tap Yes to confirm shutdown
- On your Fitbit Versa, press and hold the Back and bottom right button for a few seconds.
- Once you see the Fitbit logo screen, release the buttons.
- Wait for a few seconds until the device vibrates. This signals that the reboot has been successful.
- check if the image was updated or try a new image change
This worked for several users, I think is related with app cache:
- Uninstall Pic-me clock face
- Install Pic-me clock face
- restart your phone
- Try updating image
This step should be done automatically by the app but there are reported issues when large files (images) are being used. It is possible the image is not being processed properly by the component and a little help providing a square image (300x300 ideally) helped some users.
