Event check-in for use with Breeze CHMS.
Used at Sovereign Grace Church - Woodstock for faster check-in, particularly when Breeze CHMS is unavailable or degraded.
It uses a simpler setup - only tablets connected via Bluetooth to commodity thermal label printers. It does not require a separate print station.
It also works in a purely offline mode. If the Breeze APIs are available, it will use them for check-in; otherwise, it will use an offline directory and sync check-in data once Breeze is available.
Express Check-in uses the following:
- The Breeze CHMS API
- The original Breeze REST APIs.
- Other APIs (Tithely) and subsequent merged versions do not include check-in.
- See the Postman collections under docs/breeze-apis.
- API keys are redacted in the exported Postman collections (replaced by
...).
- TSPL (TSC Printer Language) - See also this and the PDFs under docs/printer-tspl
It requires:
- One or more Android tablets or phones with Android 12 (API 31) or higher.
- One or more commodity Bluetooth thermal label printers. We are currently using the Mvgges PL925U
- 2.25" x 4" (59mm x 102mm) labels, such as these
