Installing Localization Fix for Vox Populi is not different than mostly mods you have already installed:

Download the proper package

Since LFFVP V.3 there are several packages to download, all are the same excepting that each one is meant to work with different installations of the game. You need to download the one it's suit to your language. If you have installed a French version of Civilization V, you have to download our French package, and so on. The available packages are:

  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Spanish (english texts)
  • Spanish (translations)

If you want to install only the Localization Fix you can download from this Google Drive Folder , each time a new version is released will be updated there.

But if you want to install the Spanish translations, is better to download the files from this repo, by clicking on "code" button and then "download zip". This will download the entire repo, the folder you need is "Spanish/VP_Latino". You can delete all folders after take off this one. You can also use the package on Google Drive Folder, the difference is that I'm uploading new translations every weekend, so regarding translations this repository will be more updated.

Note: If you want to know if there are new translations just see the commit message for ex: "Updated to V.x" means that there are no differences with the package on GDrive, if you see any other message is because some files are more updated than the ones on GDrive.

Install

  1. Clean your database cache by deleting this folder (or its content): C://Users/your_user/My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/cache
  2. If you have already installed prior versions of LFFVP (v1 or v2) delete that folder too: C://Users/your_user/My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/MODS/LFFVP
  3. Move the package you downloaded to your MODS folder: C://Users/your_user/My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/MODS/

To ensure that the mod is correctly installed check that the folder you moved is called "LFFVP_de" (german) "LFFVP_fr" (french) and so on.. and have a file with extension .modinfo inside.

Ex: for german the path should be: C://Users/your_user/My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/MODS/LFFVP_de/LFFVP_de.modinfo

Enabling LFFVP

  1. Enable all Vox Populi Mods you want to use.
  2. Enable (at last) Localization Fix for VP.
  3. Play

It is very important that you enable LFFVP at the end because if you enable VP mods at the end a lot of data will be changed again for VP, causing this mod don't work properly.
