We are no longer using tokio since it gave us problems while building the CONNECT tunnel. You can call the generate statistics function in main outside the tokio::spawn. Will merge your branch soon and let you know of conflicts |

We need the generate_statistics function running in the background otherwise it will block the existing code. Since that function reads event_log.txt every 5s in an endless loop and generate stats based on logs.
