I just started looking at your QoL suggestions, and I'm glad that it looks like in this PR you solve your first QoL - logging all the service states.

yeah.. unfortunately this project is as good as dead... very little interaction from the MS people on it, although it's very usefull and with a little spit and polish could be better...

Well - then we just Fork it right?

It might be a faf to set up the pipelines, but at least we can get some of your PR's into a deployable bit of kit!

Thought about it, but by myself i lack the time to fully support it. It would be an interesting discussion to have though

On the other hand, it's one of those tools where it would be better for adoption if it says MS on the tin

I don't have the full time capacity to maintain it, but I do have the time, want and need to keep the codebase healthy & alive.

I do agree that if it has MS on the project it'll help, and it has helped me bring this into my day to day work.
