Installation
Start Eclipse and click on “Help > Install New Software…”
Insert the URL https://jasima.googlecode.com/svn/eclipse in the “Work with” field and press enter.
After a short moment, the item “jasima GUI” should appear below. Select this item by clicking on the tickbox next to it and click on “Next”.
The following screen provides you with some more details, specifically the jasima® version you are about to install. Click on “Next” to confirm.
Once you have read the license agreement, click on the radio button to accept the terms, and then proceed by clicking on “Finish”.
The installation will start and may give a warning that the software has not been authenticated or validated. Click on “OK” to proceed.
Once the installation is completed you will need to restart Eclipse. After the restart you should find the item “Jasima Project” in the submenu “File > New”.
If you cannot find this item right-click on the Java perspective button, which by default is located on the right-hand side of the Eclipse toolbar, and select “Reset”.
Click on “Yes” to confirm that you want to reset the perspective.
You should now be able to create a new jasima® project by clicking on “File > New > Jasima Project”, and thus proceed with creating a new simulation experiment.
