+1 to this issue. Still broken on MacOS Sonoma 14.1.2 as of March 12, 2024.

At this point Brew has fully dropped plist_options causing

Error: elastic/tap/elasticsearch-full: undefined method `plist_options'

It would be really nice to get this merged so we can use Elasticsearch again
