DS18B20

Output leads: red (VCC), white (DATA), black (GND)
hongkong probes red green yellow
3.5mm jack back top middle

LED

Short leg means GND, sometimes put a 220 Ohm resistor in line

Transistor

Transistor

Circuit Put the GPIO to GND with a 10K to keep it low, join that to the base of the transistor via a 1k (to limit the current), and connect the emitter to ground. The other wire goes to the relay.

Relay

Connect to GND, and the vcc to the 5v rail so it can power the clicker The input channels to the relay go to the collector of the transistor, that gets switched to GND by the GPIO pin going HIGH

Inputs

These are grounded through a small resistor and a big resistor currently 1k then 4.7k, the switch (or flow meter) is wired between them and to GND, when it closes it brings the GPIO to ground through the load of the 1k resistor
