@HastD , thanks for this. I'm interested in dropping the indexmap dependency so looking at alternatives that do not pull in indexmap. If I decide otherwise I'll consider this as an option. TY |
`serde-saphyr` is actively maintained, does not depend on `indexmap`, and is free of unsafe code.

It's a newer crate and not very widely used yet, but serde-saphyr doesn't depend on indexmap, is free of unsafe code, and (according to the documentation) has quite good performance. How about switching to that? (I've updated the PR to use this.) |

Now yaml_serde is replacement for serde_yaml. It is supported by yaml.org -> yaml.com |
