Opencamp is a Basecamp Clone in CakePHP.

It's still in development and a number of areas aren't complete.

The aim for this project is to duplicate what BC provides for free but with unlimited projects and open source goodness! Development is being phased and I hope to have Alpha version 1 out soon so people can start reporting bugs and unexpected events.

BC is a great project tool when used correctly. It's not perfect and the more I dig into BC the more bugs and inconsistencies I find. All of the CSS is being from scratch so styling should be consistent throughout. There are a number of areas in BC that I'm not happy how they work and these will be addressed.

The future is to develop this project further with a different name, branding and separate ourselves from BC.

I fully support BC and what you pay for is the hosting/storage of your projects which is understandable. If you are looking for a hosted solution of BC please just use BC - it's a great project tool!

I am a full time freelancer so development on this project will be sporadic at times.

The code is free but you cannot sell a hosting/storage solution for this product without consent from myself.
